Choose a subject and narrow your subject to refine your topic (218-220)

Select your topic, and answer the following questions before submitting it for approval:  

1.  Does this topic interest you enough that you will be able to interest others in it?  Explain what you find interesting in the topic and why others may find it interesting.

2.  Is the topic "objective," rather than subjective?  Explain.

3.  Are there enough different resources of information on the topic readily accessible?  What resources do you expect to use for your research?

1.  What aspects of the topic might interest your readers?

2.  What do your readers already probably know about the topic?

3.  How might you be able to increase your reader's understanding of the topic?
